The only thing I liked about this hotel is the location, the price & cable!
First thing that made me not like the hotel was when I first walked through the door it was Really HOT,like the air was out!!!!! The smell of the whole hotel was bad! Even on the elevators. Which even smelt like urine and spit! The hotel room had old sunflower seeds by the lamps! Thebed was comfortable bt my second night by boyfriend felt bugs crawling on him, then he lifted up the matress n saw bugs on the boxspring which was bed bugs/dust mites! He didnt tell me until the day of check out because he knew I.wasnt gona be able to sleep or nothing.! Plus the air in the room was blowing good enough around the room, and we only slept with 1 sheet because it was soo hot! And the couch was old and beated up!!!!I Will not be returning back!!

I can honestly say this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I brought a baseball team to Memphis for a college showcase tournament. When we got there, the pool was emptied, weightroom was closed, and there was no working ac in the hotel. To top it off there were literally drug dealers walking through the lobby back and forth to drop off drugs to cars that would pull up front from room 107. There was also two pimps running woman out of room 119 and 120. They propped the side door open, and would have Johns walking in and out. The rooms were absolutely horrible with blood stains and bugs. The AC didn't work in 3 out of 8 rooms, toilets didn't work in two, and there was no toilet seat in another. I have traveled for 7 years running showcase teams, and have stayed at some sketchy places. This tops them all. The hotel should be condemned!

It was the dirtiest place we have stayed or even seen. Trash throughout the parking lot, hallways, trash cans over flowing. Even the next day the trash cans were not emptied. Room was filthy and bathroom had human fluid running down outside of toilet onto the floor. No ice machines worked, only one elevator worked. Common areas not air conditioned. Exercise room and pool under maintenance. I'm sure that is a continuous issue. The city health department should shut them down. We got their late and had no place to go. We called the desk to cancel our second night, stayed that night, but they still charged me for the second night.

It was very cheap, but with the price came a lot of problems.
Booked.net said there would be a pool and Wifi, the hotel had neither. There were stains on the bedspread, we had to use just the top sheet for cover. They were not very helpful when asked for extra things, we got towels but they brushed us off when asked about cups. Finally, one of my party left an expensive portable gaming system in the room and when we came back to question them about it, they acted very suspicious and told us they didn't have it. After some more pushing, the woman at the front desk admitted that the cleaning crew had taken it and that we would get it back shortly. Overall, a terrible experience.

Almost everything, including the duct tape holding the carpet in place, the two broken phones in my room, the trash left from previous guests, and even the cockroach on the shower curtain as I got out of the shower. The no pet policy I called about rates and when I asked about the online rates they got rude and defensive.

Nothing. It was a horrible choice.
The front desk was unfriendly. The room was very dirty and although sold as "non-smoking" there were cigarette ashes everywhere in the room. There was moldy wallpaper falling from the wall and no air conditioners running anywhere in the hotel even though the temp was over 90 degrees. It took three hours to cool the room at all. There were signs at the front desk stating "no refunds or changes after check-in"... so it was obvious that we were not the only customers who saw their room and then complained.

No It didnt!! I had to change the room bacuase the fauna I have to sleep with, at the second one, the fridge was a freezer, and the freezer was full of rests of food, like icecream, so I had to through my fresh food away, I found another "zoo" inside the bath, the carpet was used on the film transpotting, I couldnt charge my mobile and my camera because I could have an electroshock if I try to unplug any cable, the electric stuff were not only old, even dangerous, the personal said they didnt have wifi though it was in the booking papers, the pool was unexistent, only one elevator worked and obiously it was used to transport cows and sheeps (beacuse the smell was disgusting, and the rests of poo over the floor), personal useless, unpleasent and completly unhelpful. I tottally dont recomend this hotel, and of course I will use the pictures I took with the some of the litle sweet animals in all the websites I can find. I hope my english was undestandable :)

Had warm/cold water
Everything 1. All doors did not lock, except of course to lobby 2. Pictures on Booked.net must have been 20 yrs old. 3. Hallways are dark, hot, filthy 4. Room was warm when we checked in, turned air on as it was July and it never got below 79 degrees. 5. Dead roaches in hallway (didn't notice until we were leaving next day) must have been too dark the night before?? 6. Dirty carpets 7. LIVE GIGANTIC cockroach in our room (next day) 8. Smelled smokey and musty. 9. Shocked that Booked.net even advertise for them!!

This is the worst hotel ever. It's stinky and smelly and very unsanitary and horrible staff. I did not enjoy my stay at the Governer's Inn & Suites. The rooms are hot and humid. You'd rather stay outside than go inside. In the rooms, there wasn't any coffee makers and the elevators were all out of order and the ice machines weren't working. There isn't even a nice pool to take our children to.There isn't even a fitness room to go to. We have been to a lot of hotels but never this bad. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at.

There is nothing to like. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Ever. Every aspect of this "hotel" is a fail.

Charging for the full stay at registration and a no refund Policy!!!!! Gross, hot, stinky, hassle.

I was given a full refund when I left the hotel after one hour of staying.
The hotel pictures were misleading and the three star rating was not based on any hotel evaluation criteria. When I checked in to my first room, the a/c was broken. The temperature was 90 degrees in the hotel. My second room had mold on the dresser handles, stains on the sheets, plaster on one wall, brown marks (substance unknown)all over another. The bed appeared to be rested on with pillows being flat, ruffled. There was a mattress laying on the ground outside my window, cigarette butts all in the hallway and around the vending machines (non-smoking floor/ lobby area). The side door was left open. People were walking in and out the door. I shut the door and it would not lock. I let the manager know the place was completely unsafe, seeing as people were coming and going, partying in the lot, etc. I was staying on business and the Internet only worked when I walked out of my room, which was unsafe. There is no house keeping, fitness center is shut down, restaurant and lounge is also closed. I have stayed at many two star hotels before, this doesn't deserve a one star. I was appalled.

It was near the places we were visiting during our trip.
I saw not one but two of the biggest roaches I'd had ever seen in my life. So gross. Will never stay there again.
